We’re still here
Our house didn’t sell at

Brienne wrote, ‘When God’s Word is preached, it accomplishes his
purpose. I said (in faith!) people could be healed just listening to
the teaching. We later heard of an elderly lady who’d suffered
greatly from painful teeth and gums. While listening to the
teaching she started to pat her lips and cheeks, realizing all the
pain had gone! Praise God, he is so faithful.’
In Tulsipur, one pastor has planted 49 churches among the
unreached mountain villages. He estimates that 99% of
conversions are the result of healing alongside the proclamation
of the gospel.
‘We were so encouraged,’ Brienne said, ‘but wonder what
we have to teach these pastors who are sold out to see Nepal
come to Christ.’ She is planning to return in 2024.
Nepal Mission Trip Oct/Nov 2023
One Thousand Sheaves
Brienne, Arnold, Bron and Thijs just returned to NZ, exhausted
but smiling. In their eighteen-day mission to Nepal, they
taught five schools of healing (including an impromptu extra)
and plenty of other ministry. As always, God blended the
team, each stepping out in faith with new gifts.
A total of 1,000 attended the schools, and miracles abounded.
Psalm 126:6 promises, He who goes out weeping, carrying seed to
sow, will return with songs of joy, carrying sheaves with him.
Highlight was the school in Balidan church in Ghorahi in
the Dang Valley, a 6-hour road journey into the hills (just south of
the devastating earthquake that erupted as they flew home).
Here, 500 attended both days in this vibrant church full of
young adults, while 172 children had their own programme on
an upper floor. Then the healings began: knees, backs,
migraines, kidney disease, nausea, eyes, and ears. The team
were teary-eyed singing ‘How Great Thou Art’ amidst the
passionate Nepalis.
