In our Naubise school of healing in Nepal, in November, 2012, she was lying at the back of the church when we arrived. Her husband had carried her there ten days earlier. She could only move her left arm. They’d spent all their money on doctors, puja, and sacrifices. Her husband had had enough. Anne Thorne, one of our team, felt compassion for her, feeling prompted by the Lord to lay hands on her, washing her feet with her tears. At lunchtime a local believer said, ‘Let’s raise her up.’ They lifted her to her feet. She became strong and began to walk, then run around the church. She then joined us for lunch! Anne then remembered a dream she’d had 6 months earlier, in which she saw a paralysed lady healed, and she and her husband would become missionaries, testifying to God’s grace. But neither were believers. So another member of our team led them both to Christ!
